About This Ingredient

Greying is driven by oxidative stress: grey follicles accumulate hydrogen peroxide as antioxidant repair declines, disabling the enzyme that makes melanin (Wood, 2009). This peptide supports that oxidative-defence environment. It does NOT reverse grey hair: no topical cosmetic active has been shown to regenerate the depleted melanocyte stem-cell pool, and the closest in-class peptide failed in trial (78.6% of patients saw no improvement over six months). It defends existing pigment; it does not restore what is lost.
